Director of Operations (8–15 Years Experience)
Location: Rochester, Minnesota — In-Office
Compensation: $85,000–$105,000 + performance bonuses
We’ve grown nearly 500% in the last four years — and we’re just getting started.
The Yanowitz Law Firm is expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for a Director of Operations who can help build the systems, structure, and clarity to support our next level of growth.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced operations leader who excels at creating order, improving processes, and driving consistent performance across a service-based business. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with the CEO and team to ensure the firm operates smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our values.
You will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s operational foundation — developing systems, guiding workflows, supporting the team, and ensuring that goals turn into results. This is a role for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership.
If you thrive in environments that value innovation, collaboration, and excellence — and you enjoy building operational excellence from the ground up — you’ll fit right in.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 8–15 years of experience in operations, business management, or organizational leadership
- Proven ability to create and refine systems, processes, and workflows
- Strong communication skills and consistent follow-through
- Tech-forward mindset — experienced with automation, CRMs, and project management tools
- Solid understanding of financial reports, KPIs, and operational metrics
- Clear, empathetic leader who supports high performance and models professionalism
- Thrives in a culture built on innovation, kindness, teamwork, and high standards
- Experience in professional services or legal operations is a plus
Who We Are

We are driven by:
- Innovation: Early adoption of technology and automation
- Teamwork: Collaborative problem-solving and shared ownership
- Kindness: Respect in every interaction
- High Standards: Excellence in service and communication
- Continuous Learning: Growth is built into our culture
We pair modern systems with a grounded, client-centered approach.

Office Manager
Office Manager
Location: Rochester, Minnesota (In-Office, Full-Time)
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 + performance bonuses
About the Role
If you’re the kind of person who naturally takes charge, fixes what’s broken, and keeps a fast-moving operation running smoothly — we should talk.
At the Yanowitz Law Firm, we embrace technology, collaboration, and big ideas. We move quickly, innovate constantly, and work as a unified team rather than in silos. You’ll be the one who transforms ideas into action — building systems, leading people, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This role is for someone who’s done this before — someone with real management experience in a service-based business who knows how to create structure, elevate performance, and keep operations running at a high standard. Law firm experience is a plus, but backgrounds in professional services, healthcare, or hospitality operations translate well.
This is an executive-level role — not administrative support, not operations-lite. You’ll have authority, autonomy, and a direct impact on how the firm grows.
Who You Are
- 5–8 years of experience in operations, administration, or office management within a service-driven business (law firm preferred)
- A natural leader who sets clear expectations and follows through
- Skilled in decision-making, problem-solving, and navigating tough conversations with professionalism and kindness
- Tech-forward — comfortable using CRMs, project management tools, automation, and new technologies
- A systems thinker who leads with empathy and promotes a culture of learning
- Believes in accountability, collaboration, and maintaining high standards
- Someone who thrives in a team-oriented, innovation-driven environment

Estate Planning-Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Join Our Award-Winning and Rapidly Growing Law Firm
At Yanowitz Law Firm, the words we put on paper become more than documents—they become legacies. Every will, trust, and deed we create helps families protect what matters most. We’re looking for a Technical Writer who loves details, values precision, and maybe even enjoys the quiet thrill of catching a typo others miss.
This isn’t a “sit quietly and shuffle papers” type of job. We’re a fast-growing, people-focused law firm where clarity matters—in every client document, blog post, and video caption. You’ll not only help draft and proof important legal documents but also collaborate with our marketing team to ensure that what we share with the world is polished, persuasive, and easy for clients to understand.
If you’re the type of person who spots the missing apostrophe on a restaurant menu, or who thinks organizing a messy file folder (or rewriting a clunky sentence) is oddly satisfying—you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
The Practical Stuff
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Location: In-person, Rochester, MN
Pay: $22–$26 per hour, plus bonuses for meeting quarterly goals
Perks & Benefits
- Health insurance
- 401K with a 3% match
- Paid holidays + 3 weeks PTO + 1 week sick pay (with opportunities to earn more PTO through team bonuses)
- Parental leave
- Employee discounts
- A supportive team that values kindness and collaboration
- Meaningful work that truly makes a difference in people’s lives
What You’ll Do
This role blends technical writing, legal drafting, and organization. You’ll:
- Draft important legal documents—wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, and more—the paperwork that makes families’ futures secure.
- Proofread like a detective. You’ll catch the small errors that could make a big difference—because $100,000 and $10,000 are not the same thing.
- Keep documents and files organized. No wild goose chases to find “the latest version.” You’ll know exactly where it is.
- Collaborate with attorneys to transform client conversations into precise, reliable legal documents.
- Coordinate with banks, title companies, and financial institutions—you’ll be the calm in the storm that keeps the details moving smoothly.
- Work closely with our marketing assistant to review blog posts, video captions, and social media content—ensuring everything we publish is grammatically correct, persuasive, easy to understand, and legally accurate.
- Look for ways to make things better. Whether it’s smoothing out a clunky step or suggesting a smarter system, you’ll help make “complicated” feel doable.
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on precision
- An eagle eye for detail—you notice the typo on a billboard at 60 mph
- Organization skills that keep projects and people on track
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new tools and drafting systems
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude (you don’t just spot problems—you fix them)
- A collaborative spirit that makes the team stronger
Bonus points if:
- You have a degree in English, Technical Writing, Paralegal Studies, or a related field
- You have experience in marketing, content review, or proofreading digital communications (blog posts, social media, newsletters, etc.)
- You’ve worked with legal or administrative documents before (but if not, we’ll train you)
How to Apply
Send us your cover letter and resume today. In your cover letter, share a story about a time you caught an important detail, turned chaos into order, or wrote something that really mattered. Show us how you think, how you write, and how you bring calm to the details that make the difference.
