Alan J. Yanowitz has more than thirty years of experience guiding families and small businesses in wealth management.  He has been an attorney in Rochester, Minnesota since 1984.   Before moving to Rochester, Alan was a tax manager for a national accounting firm and owned his own tax firm in Washington, D.C.

Alan focuses on estate planning, business matters, tax, asset protection, charitable giving, elder law, medical assistance planning, probate and trust administration.  Alan helps preserve small businesses by setting up tax sensitive plans.  He regularly represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in estate and trust administration.  In addition, Alan has significant experience in nonprofit taxation, agricultural estate planning and international estate planning.
